Ya I use the DOA shrimp as well but I honestly catch twice as many snook under docks when I use jigs. The ones hanging around the bottom seem to run a bit larger on average too.

gotcha. I almost throw exclusively DOA shrimp around docks. If you take the weight out you can drift them nicely through the lights & they don't make too much of a splash as to spook anything. I'll have to give that a try tho

Dock lights...had to skip it deep under the dock in order to get the bite.

might want to give the "heddon money hound" a try..it's a weedless topwater similiar in shape and action as the spook jr...only problem with it is you miss a ton of fish

yeah, I actually replaced both trebbles with J hooks.... I do miss more fish, but there is too much grass where I'm at to fish topwater with trebbles

i agree, more durable, similar size and colors (if not better selection), easier to put on a jighead securely, also scented...

I've always done well with the exude dart but the more I use the "mirrolure lil john" the better the bait I think it is
